Little Classical Musician app for iPhone and iPad

Little Classical Musician helps introduce young children to the wonders of classical music from an early age. It can be used for children of all ages starting from birth, yet can be enjoyed by the whole family at the same time.

This app includes 100 of the most popular classical music pieces of all time, many of which should be instantly recognizable by most adults. Many experts believe that music exposure is very beneficial to the development of a childs brain, and classical music stands out due to the high information nature of the music.

WHATS SO SPECIAL ABOUT LITTLE CLASSICAL MUSICIAN?

- 1-Minute Excerpts

Recognizing that childrens attention spans can be very limited, this app takes one-minute excerpts of each piece, carefully selecting the most memorable and representative part(s) of that piece, allowing the listener to sample these beautiful pieces without having to listen to the entire piece (which are often very long).

- Designed for Kids to Learn

Further, each piece includes a visual representation of the main instruments that can be heard in that excerpt, so that children can begin to associate what they hear with the instruments behind the music.

The title of each piece, along with the name of the composer, is also read out and displayed, so as to help the listener become more familiar with the names of composers behind those masterpieces and thereby increase the listeners knowledge of famous composers.

HOW TO USE THE APP

As the app contains images intended to be viewed by the child, we recommend that the app be played using a tablet, and if toddlers are present, placed just out of their reach.

Simply leave the music playing in the background as your child is eating or playing, and if your child isnt viewing it, you can turn off the screen to save your devices battery. The music will continue to play in the background.

For best effects, you could play back the music through blue tooth speakers, and even project/cast the contents onto your home TV.

HOW THE 100 PIECES ARE ORGANIZED

The 100 pieces are split into 10 main playlists: Popular Classics 1 to Popular Classics 10, each comprising ten pieces. In general, the pieces get progressively more complex. In addition, there are further theme-based playlists such as Bedtime and Lively.

We suggest starting with Popular Classics 1 and playing it daily over a period of a week, before moving on to Popular Classics 2, and so on until Popular Classics 10 when all 100 pieces will have been covered. At any time, you may also occasionally choose from the theme-based playlists whenever you consider it appropriate, according to your childs interests or needs.
